Shannon’s powerful work ethic, problem-solving mentality and energetic approach led her into the real estate industry. Each day, she looks forward to combining these skills with her creative eye for function and interior design to successfully market and match each client with the perfect home. Her goal is to make the experience as smooth as possible for her clients, whether they are buying or selling.
As a fundraiser for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for almost 20 years, people are often amused that Shannon graduated from Duke University. She knows and loves all the best parts of Chapel Hill and Durham and considers herself lucky to have been a member of both of these vibrant communities.
Her passion for real estate is driven by the important role a home plays in the quality of a person’s life. Whether one is single, newly married, has a family, or is ready to downsize, it is important that one’s home supports each stage of life. Shannon believes that everyone deserves a comfortable place to live, which is why she serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County to help families build and improve the places they call home.
A native North Carolinian who grew up in Reidsville, Shannon lived in the heart of New York City for more than six years, but her appreciation for all the Triangle has to offer eventually led her back home. Ideally located within a few hours of the mountains and the beach, the Triangle is an extraordinary place to live. Shannon escapes to the Crystal Coast or the Blue Ridge Mountains every chance she gets.
Shannon lives in the heart of Chapel Hill, just a short walk away from UNC's campus, which is especially fun on game days. In her free time, she loves to play golf; cook; peruse the interior design books that overload her coffee table; and spend time with her niece, her nephew, and her precious puppy, Georgie!
